2017 Summer Dance Camps


Camp Options:

Camp #1: June 13, 14 and 15
Camp #2 June 20, 21 and 22
Camp #3 July 11, 12 and 13
Camp #4 July 18, 19 and 20

3 camps each day

  • Tots Camp (Ages 4 to 6)  -  8:45am-10:45am
  • Dance Camp (Ages 8 to 11)  -  11:00am-1:00pm
  • Fitness Dance Camp (Ages 7 to 11)  -  1:10pm-3:10pm

Camp Tuition Rates

Single camp fees (2 hours per day)
$90 one week
$174 two weeks
$252 three weeks
$324 four weeks

Double camp fees for CCD Musical Dance and CCD Dance Fitness (4 hours per day)
$144 one week
$276 two weeks
$396 three weeks
$504 four weeks

Required Registration fee: $25 per student
Summer camp registration fee per student is one-time only and includes materials and camp T-Shirt. (non-refundable) - However, an additional materials fee $10 per student may apply if enrolled in 2 separate camps - Musical and Fitness.


Dancing Tots Camp:

This program is designed to exhilarate children’s imagination through Song and Dance, Arts and Crafts, Music and Story time.

Camp Schedule:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:45 am to 10:45 am

Camp Themes:

Safari
Dance through the jungles, amazon, in Lion King, etc… (craft face masks/make-up)
Fairytales
Be a prince or princess, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty etc.. (craft wands, crowns)
It’s Small World
Travel Orient, Outback, Latin America, etc (crafts- maracas, Spanish fans)
Little Broadway
Dance like the Rockettes, Happy Feet etc.. (make top hats)


Musical Dance Camp:

This program is designed to allow the blossoming young dancer to explore the principles of dance and theater creatively introduced with different styles of dance technique, diverse music selections, and theatrical crafts and/or games.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Camp Themes:

Safari – Fairytales - It’s Small World – Little Broadway


Fitness Dance Camp:

This program specializes in varying fitness techniques infused with stimulating music and dance styles and includes basic exploration of health and wellness concepts through energizing expositions and activities.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 1:10 pm to 3:10 pm

Camp Themes:

Core Strength and Isolation
Pilates, plyometrics (use balls, etc) (Ed. Body Muscles)
Flexibility and Pliability
Stretching / breathing (use mats, bands, etc) (Ed. Breathing)
Coordination and Balance
Martial art styles (obstacle course, etc) (Ed. Cognition)
Cardio and Endurance
Aerobic styles (partner games, etc) (Ed. Diet/Nutrition)
